We are currently experiencing uncertain times with Covid-19, Brexit, Climate change, technological change, etc. These events make the economy more volatile and more difficult to predict which makes our jobs as accountants more difficult.
In this session we will consider the impact these events have on financial statements drafted under FRS 102. We will be looking at going concern, valuations and impairments and significant judgements and estimates.

Lindsay Webber - Technical Executive, CPDStore
Lindsay is qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in big, small and medium sized accounting practices. She lectured auditing at Post-grad and Under-grad level at Rhodes University in South Africa.
Lindsay’s current role involves providing CPD courses to the UK and Irish accounting community through CPDStore alongside file reviews, technical queries, and in-house training through OmniPro Professional Services.
Lindsay is passionate about education and loves breaking down the technical financial reporting and auditing sections into practical, digestible bites to help accountants.
Simon Briton - Quantify R&D
